Unlike linens cut and sewn from yardage, each of these napkins is handwoven on a loom.
The yarn is made from heirloom organic Kala cotton grown in Gujarat, India. Naturally sustainable, Kala is indigenous to the Kachchh region. The crop doesn't require vast amounts of water to grow and is purely rain fed. Highly tolerant of disease and pests, it does not require any pesticides or synthetic fertilizers, making it organic by default.
