Our next generation of indigo masks is a collaboration with Kreatelier in Providence, Rhode Island. We've used the same super soft dhabu cloth from Jaipur, and updated the design with adjustable around-the-ear elastics.
Kreatelier is a creative and unique fabric concept store that offers everything from simple gifts to stunning re-upholstered pieces and absolutely everything in between. Having worked there in its earliest days, it also happens to be the place where I was first introduced to the idea of a retail establishment being more than just a store and a source of inspiration for my own "boutique plus" ambitions.
At the beginning of the pandemic, Kreatelier was forced to close their storefront, but with so many seamstresses at their disposal, mask making was an obvious pivot. Since March, Kreatelier has made and sold over 20,000 masks. Donating 1 mask for every 10 sold, they have given over 2,000 masks to local hospitals and charities! For obvious reasons, we were thrilled to share our stash of exclusive indigo with Kreatelier to collaborate on this project, and we will donate a portion of our proceeds to the continued support of our Destination Partners in Udaipur.
This face mask fits adults and children age 12 and up. The elastics on the side can be adjusted. Just pull through the elastic on the side and adjust the knot.
