It was such fun design-geeking out with Artem Jewelry's Sadhna Gupta-Brown and her treasure trove of Indian gems -- the garnets are vintage, salvaged from her mother's old necklace! These super wearable, layer-able necklaces are a sneak peek of "Artem Abroad," our forthcoming collaboration with the Brookline-based jewelry studio. We've got a world-architecture inspired line on the horizon, as well as a pop-up event where you can iterate your own custom piece on the spot!

This is special because...
Artem was founded by Boston-based architect turned jeweler Sadhna Gupta Brown in 2018. Sadhna's unique, architectural designs are ethically handcrafted in the Kolkata jewelry studios of Her Future Coalition, a nonprofit creating powerful and positive change in the lives of Indian and Nepali survivors of gender violence and girls at the highest risk, providing education, vocational training, safe shelter and supportive community.
The organization's jewelry program gives women the opportunity to learn a profession and support themselves independently. Her Future jewelers are breaking gender barriers, becoming some of South Asia’s first women goldsmiths, and earning wages comparable to a college graduate.
10% of all Artem purchases benefit Her Future Coalition.
